Information and Instructions for joining the live course

Thank you for your interest in the tour guide online training course!

How the live training works:

The course takes place over two days. Each day will begin at 9am in Central Europe Time (CET). You can convert times using an app like Time Buddy or similar, or simply key ‘time now in CET’ into your browser and calculate the time difference from there.

Course schedule: 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm, 3pm-5pm on both days. Total 12 hours.

Upcoming course dates: 25 & 29 Oct; 22 & 26 Nov.

There will be two long breaks of one hour each, for comfort and/or food. There will be no exercises to do during the breaks. The break times on both days will be 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm. If you need to leave at other times, you can try recording the session by pressing the ‘record’ button on the Zoom page, however I advise being present in the course while the training is in session.

The training will consist of a presentation with the teacher – a highly experienced tour guide and qualified teacher – with some exercises.

How to pay for the training:

Please send €50 via PayPal to tourguidecourse@gmail.com Once your PayPal Payment has been received, you will be sent the Zoom Account Number & Password. Please state which date you want: May 24 0r June 28.

Please copy and paste the account number and password a few minutes before the session starts, so you don’t miss anything.

I will send you an invitation to join the class the day before your course starts.

You can join from your individual location, wherever you choose, but make sure you will not be interrupted by background noise, children, pets, and so on. You can mute yourself very easily at any time before or during the training, so no one else in the class will be disturbed. I will show you how to do this at the start of the course.

There can be more than one person at the same location in each session, but each person must pay the course fee beforehand.

Course fee includes:

* Tuition by a qualified teacher and highly experienced tour guide

* Access to additional course materials for home study
